Don't we all need someone to lean on? Someone you know you can depend on to understand and be there... without question, without doubt. Maybe we do need a knight sometimes.. or perhaps a superhero.. maybe a 'stretcher-bearer'? ;) And when you've found that someone, you hope that he/she will not 'leave' you. The fear is only natural.

On the flipside, it's also nice to know when your company is needed and appreciated. There is nothing better than having a friend call you.. just because. ;) To be the person they want to spend their time with or tell some news.. no matter how trivial or silly it may seem. When you know that by simply being you.... it is what makes them want to still stick around.

So fault me if you will.. call me selfish if you must... i'm holding on to these people.. i'm not letting them go...
